Intentionality

Intentionality

Life is a gift and it’s worth living on purpose. The status quo rarely leads us anywhere worth going. We prayerfully choose how we will spend our minutes and days, knowing that our choices impact eternity.

Life is worth living on purpose

  • When you’re in your sweet spot, you’re purpose, it’s a joy. But we never get there without sacrifice.

  • My purpose is bigger than me.

  • God gave me talents, but intentionality puts me in a position where God can multiply those talents.

  • I’m intentionally growing in my talent… investing in my relationship with Jesus… Keeping my eyes on the main thing.

  • I WILL NOT bring Jesus a sacrifice that costs me nothing!

The Status Quo = what comes easy

  • I will not slip into a rhythm that I can rock with my eyes closed.

  • I will prepare, I will practice, I will bring my best, and then some.

  • This is true for all the key areas of my life… not just my ministry. My family, my work, my church.

Prayerfully choose…

  • How’s your prayer life? How are you incorporating praying into your daily planning?

  • How is prayer a part of your preparation to worship with the team on Sundays, or even to come and worship from a seat in the congregation?

  • We don’t attend church. We are the church. And we’ll be a intentionally praying church.
